The Goal:
Redesign this California Screen Printing Companies website from the ground up, add in a dash of custom programming, and top it all off with some down home organic SEO.
The Problem:
The original site was an amalgamation of frames inside of frames inside of more frames. The page hierarchy made no sense and was jumbled, if we are going to put it mildly. No care was taken by the previous designers to make the site even web friendly. They used extremely bloated print based images. Download times were astronomical even on a DSL / Cable connection. Needless to say spiderability was affected and their organic placement was non existant.
The Solution:
Website Redesign, PHP / MySQL Programming.
Well, the first thing was to break away from the 2001 frames. Some were going to be necessary in future pages in order to link to their supplier, however we changed the primary functionality of the site so that it came across as static. We took the look of the site to an all new level while still lowering download times by a staggering number. We also lowered bounce rates by as much as 40% for some traffic sources. We have also increased organic traffic exponentially and will continue to do so as the days and months go by.
